Promptular ("we," "us," or "our") operates promptular.app. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your name (optional) and email address. Your password is hashed using bcrypt before storage and is never stored in plain text. When you make a purchase, payment is processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your credit card details. We also collect basic usage data such as which features you use and when you last logged in.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and maintain our service, process transactions, and send transactional emails including welcome emails, password resets, and purchase confirmations. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Cookies

We use only cookies that are strictly necessary for the app to function:

Session Cookie: Keeps you logged in while using the app. Set when you sign in and removed when you log out or it expires.

Stripe Cookies: Required for secure payment processing. Governed by Stripe's privacy policy.

Cloudflare Cookies: Used for security and performance by our hosting infrastructure. Governed by Cloudflare's privacy policy.

We do not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. All cookies we use are strictly necessary for the website to function and do not require consent under GDPR and ePrivacy regulations.

Third-Party Services

We use Stripe for payment processing, Resend for email delivery, Cloudflare for DNS and database hosting, and Vercel for application hosting. Each has its own privacy policy. We do not use any third-party analytics services.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in Cloudflare D1 databases and transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. API routes that access user data require authentication.

Your Rights

You can access and update your personal information in your account settings, change your password, and permanently delete your account and all associated data. Account deletion is immediate and irreversible. Contact us if you need assistance.

Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
